The WWTP Krusevac is an activated sludge plant with subsequent solar sludge drying and biogas plant. The plant is designed for 90,000 PE (person equivalent) with a capacity of 526 liters/sec. Implementation has been carried out under the frame of FIDIC Yellow Book.
The project was implemented as part of the KfW-funded project: "Water and Sewerage Programme in Medium-Sized Municipalities in Serbia, Programme III – Wastewater in the Municipalities of Kruševac, Užice and Vranje". With an investment volume of 14 million euro, the construction period was 2 years. The handing-over took place in June 2020 and the 1-year DNP (Defects Notification Period) has elapsed with no problems.
Meanwhile, drones are increasingly being used in construction projects to document the construction progress.
