Opening ceremony for water treatment plant in Pirot
The Minister for Construction, Transport and Infrastructure presided over the opening ceremony for the water treatment plant Berilovac and pumping station in Pirot, Serbia.
The new plant now has 9 new filters, coagulent dosing, a new clear water reservoir, clear water pumps, a raw water boosting station and capacity has been increased to 270 liters/sec (previously 200 l/s). The project was implemented from Mach 2018 to December 2019 as part of the KfW-funded project: "Water and Sewerage Programme in Medium-Sized Municipalities in Serbia, Programme II, Phase 2 .
