New pipeline bridge with pedestrian walkway for Trstenik
In 2014, severe flooding in Serbia damaged the previous pipeline bridge and endangered the general stability of the construction.
Construction on the new bridge with a trunk main for the water supply to the city of Trstenik started in March 2018 and was completed in June 2019. The new 109m long bridge over the Zapadna Morava River did not just replace the old one, it was improved upon with a new walkway for pedestrians. The pipeline below has a capacity of up to 200 liters/second.
